ROVERS boss Mark Hughes is well aware of the threat that local rivals and European heroes Bolton pose ahead of Sunday's Premier League clash at Ewood Park.
Rovers turned out 2-1 winners in the reverse fixture at the Reebok Stadium a few weeks ago, but Hughes believes Bolton will provide difficult opposition.
"They have a certain style of play that is well known and well documented," said Hughes. "It hasn't changed a great deal since Gary has come because he has acknowledged the qualities of the players and has recognised they are well-tuned with that system.
"In fairness it has been difficult for him because he has lost one of his main assets in Nicolas Anelka, but he has been allowed to spend the money to bring in good Premier League players and they look strong.
"They are a difficult side, they are always a difficult side and in these derbies, for whatever reason, it always seems to be the away side that does well.
